Quietly serve our Lord and our parish by tidying up His house!

Depending on the number of groups serving, volunteers are assigned to clean the church approximately 4 times a year.  This is a surface cleaning that should only take 1-2 hours.

Typical Duties Include:
Vacuuming the Vestibule  (Gathering area)
Spot clean the windows and doors in the Church, Chapel and Vestibule
Dusting the ledges and baseboards in the Church, Chapel, and Vestibule
Dust/Windex the 3 Chrism domes in back of Church 
Wash All holy water bowls and replenish the holy water
Wash chimneys on the Sacred Heart and Blessed Mother
Straighten books in pews as needed
Clean countertops, sink and outside of refrigerator in the sacristy

As you can see, no special skills are required!  Many times a family will take this opportunity to serve the parish together.  Other times a group of friends joins together to serve together, but there is no need to already have a group prepared before you offer to help!  

A yearly schedule is created at the beginning of each year to assign weekends.
