Prayerfully Pieced is a quilting ministry that began meeting in February 2025. Our goal is to serve fellow parishioners in times of serious illnesses by providing them with a handmade quilt made by one of our members with love. Our thoughts and prayers go with the future owners of the quilts, and we hope they will feel our love and prayers wrapped around them when they most need a little extra TLC. To date, we have given quilts to several parishioners who are experiencing difficult health conditions. Our goal is to serve parishioners who are in health distress, not those who are having routine surgeries such as a tonsillectomy. We have made almost 40 quilts so far for men, women and children. As an additional service to our Parish, we donate quilts to the Knights of Columbus’ auctions for the Bazaar.
We would very much like to reach out to additional parishioners in need that we may not know about or that they don’t know about us. If you know of someone that you think would be a good fit for service from our ministry, please reach out to us and complete a form with the information we need to present the quilt. Additionally, if you are a quilter, we would love to have additional members join us in our ministry.
We meet every other Wednesday from Noon to 3:00 PM in the Ministry Building. Our meetings are listed in the bulletin in the Parish Calendar section.
