Every year for the past 40-plus years, the Galveston Seafarers Center has collected Christmas gifts from the community to deliver aboard ships that will be in port throughout the month of December. The gifts are delivered by our port deacons and volunteers. Many times, these are the only gifts that many seafarers will receive this Christmas! They are now adding year-round gift boxes for the sailors!
Please consider filling a shoe box-sized container with these treasures and dropping them off at the parish office or in the collection bin located in the vestibule of the church. PLease do not wrap the boxes. This allows a quick inspection of the items.
