Our Mission: To increase awareness of our parishioner's call to holiness through their vocation.
Your vocation is your calling by God. God knows you and has a plan for your life. Vocation is not your career or ministry, because it runs deeper. As a child of God, He has called you to join the story of salvation history through your vocation. The most common vocation is the sacrament of holy matrimony (women and men). But many will be called to other vocations, including Priesthood (men only), Religious Life (women and men), Consecrated Virginity (women only), and Committed Single Life (women and men), to name a few!
To our married men and women, you have entered a vocation, which is your path to holiness. The same is true for Father John who has entered his vocation. His Priesthood is his path to holiness! To those of you who have yet to discover your vocation, the St. Mary's Vocation Committee is here to help you discern. Discernment is a process of cutting away the noise so you can hear God's will for your life.
